Oh my. It's been so long that I forgot how to login to blogger. I had to do the "recover my password" thing. How embarassing.

But not as embarassing as the new edition of the magazine. Although it isn't available to the public right now, we are privy to the advanced copies of the January issue of alive. This is the issue in which the Life Makeover participants (ie me and Terry-Lynn's sister Toni) are introduced. I couldn't be less excited. Yes, I know that I'm enjoying an extremely fortunate opportunity...free gym membership, free personal training, free medical advice, free supplements and protein shake mix (don't laugh...it's $60 for a container), and free acupuncture. Well, that last one is a bit iffy. But the rest of it is pretty good. The downside, however, is not only photos of me in spandex (very tasteful), but several photos of me in spandex. And in profile, no less. So you can see my unsightly man-boobs and tummy roll quite clearly. Why am I even pointing this out to you all? I guess that I have no more shame left. The good things: my name is on the cover; my photo is in the TOC and both my name and another photo are on the Contributors' page. So yes, it is a really good thing.

That's pretty much the only development since I last posted. My computer is still fucked up. I still haven't fixed it. I'm still going to buy a new one. The only other thing is that the snow is gone. That's a little sad, especially considering all the crap weather we've had since.

I'm forced to use the computers at school (I shouldn't be here. It's the break for crying out loud!). Every time I stop in, Julian is here. Oh, and I saw Josie on Monday. We met for our "the internship is over" celebratory dinner. It's a little late, but it was delicious. I ventured all the way to her place, and then we went to Stella's on Commercial Drive. Yummy! And then yesterday, the editorial team from alive went to The Hart House for a combo Xmas and "good luck Terry-Lynn" lunch. It was excellent except for the carollers. I'm sure they were good...I was just not in the mood. While there, T-L received a phone call which was quickly passed to me. I had apparently missed a photo shoot at the gym. Ivan, the art director was pissed. I felt really bad. Such a major screw-up. I've learned from that, though, so all is good.

I hope that all is good for you all over the Xmas holidays. I've missed you, and hope to see you after Xmas (please...I'm going slightly mental).

Have a great Christmas (yes, I said it).
